About Anchor Photography SRQ
In the mid-1980's, I entered a picture of a giant beaver dam photographed at the Maroon Bells (Aspen, CO) in a school cultural arts program and won my first photo contest. Thirty years later, my family returned to the area and the dam was still there, looking almost identical to the image I had captured as a child. Like the dam, my love of natural light photography and telling stories of life, love, hope and good has spanned nearly three decades. Going behind the lens to find new stories and capture these moments never gets old...and in today's fast-paced world, it's more important than ever to preserve these quick glimpses in time.
